Just to clarify, this piece was not meant to hate on The Brown and White at all - we're just having some fun with the sillier things we saw over the course of the semester. It could say more about campus life at Lehigh than about the paper itself.

But, as the primary organized student voice on campus, it's within all of our rights to critique the B&W. Frankly, I think the campus could benefit from some more scrutiny on all of its publications. That means we can prod the B&W to do a better job, and you (or they) should definitely raise hell when The Patriot screws up.

So thanks for reading, and the correction you pointed out regarding the publication date has been made.

P.S. - The jury is still out on the Internet/internet issue. See the Wikipedia article on "Internet capitalization conventions" if you run out of reasons to procrastinate.

Honestly, this is pathetic.

The quote from the edit desk isn't from 11/13, it's from a month earlier. Internet should be capitalized; as should Web (you took the sic out, but it was in the print version). If you are going to accuse the editors of another publication of doing a poor job, you need to hold yourselves to a higher standard.

And sure, anyone would agree some of the stuff in The Brown and White is not exactly newsworthy, but they published 24 issues this semester, while the Patriot published three. Give me a break.

As a fan of the Patriot, I found this embarrassing.
